Active and Reliable Nanny (27514)
Select Sitters is seeking an energetic, mature, and reliable nanny for a family in Chapel Hill starting in early June. The nanny will be caring primarily for the 18 month old girl who loves art projects and being outside. When school is out and afternoons after summer camp, the nanny will also care for the family’s 6 year old boy. He loves cars, Pokemon, and imagination play. The family has adored their current nanny and are sad for her to move on, and are looking for a new nanny who is just as wonderful, engaging and loving as their current nanny. The nanny will be responsible for picking up the oldest from school, driving the children to outings, and light picking up after the children and preparing lunch. They really prefer for the nanny to focus their attention on the children! Reliability is very important to this family as mom works in the ER and doesn’t have a lot of flexibility with her job. Dad works from home but you’ll likely not know he’s even there. Both parents have been vaccinated for COVID and they are looking for a nanny comfortable with also being vaccinated if not already. The family does have 2 cats, so please be comfortable with cats in the home.
The typical schedule will fluctuate a bit, so they do need someone who is flexible to work 32 hours a week. These hours will fall within the 8:30 am- 5:45 pm window Monday-Friday and the schedule will be provided in advance, and they will consult their nanny first with any changes. They will guarantee a salary and pay above that if the hours do end up being more than the guaranteed 32 occasionally. They will need their new nanny to begin June 15th at the latest.
The Ideal Nanny Would Have:
-3-5 years of professional childcare experience
-CPR/First Aid Certification
-Reliable Transportation, Room for 2 carseats, and Clean Driving Record
-Ability to Commit Long-Term
-COVID Vaccinated (or willing to be vaccinated)
