- Select Sitters
Adventurous and Structured Nanny (27607)

Select Sitters is seeking a fun, responsible, and engaging nanny for a family in Raleigh starting early June. The family has two active boys who will be 11 and 12 years old at the start date.
They are hoping ideally for a long-term nanny to join them full-time during the summer, following a Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm schedule. When school begins in the Fall, the position will shift to part-time, Monday-Friday from 2:30pm - 6:00pm.
Their ideal nanny will be energetic and proactive about planning activities, including board games and lots of time outdoors (to play sports, visit parks, pools, etc). Someone who can find a great balance between excitement and downtime, and who is also able to help with homework/studying, educational activities and school pick-up as needed. The boys are extremely bright, and a nanny who is extra organized, creative, patient and caring would be a great fit. Help with laundry, light tidying and possible errands would also be appreciated as time allows!
Both parents can work from home, but will likely choose to go to the office to give the nanny and themselves a little space if needed. Mom is immune-compromised, so the nanny should be extremely conscious of hand washing, wearing a mask in public, and overall conscientious about the current and evolving situation with Covid.
The nanny must have a vehicle and clean driving record in order to pick up children from school during the school year and potentially transport to activities.
Qualifications
-3 - 5 years of professional childcare experience
-Excellent References
-CPR/First Aid Certification (one child does have allergies)
-Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
-Clean Criminal Record
-Full Time Summer Availability is the priority, and a candidate who also has afternoon availability moving into the Fall would be a great bonus!
-Someone who has received the Covid Vaccine or is planning to receive it when eligible is strongly preferred
