Affectionate and Organized Nanny (27614)

Updated: Apr 30

Select Sitters is seeking an experienced, proactive, and loving nanny for a family in Raleigh. They have a 16 month old little boy who is happy, carefree, and busy, and are also expecting their second child in August, so they need a nanny who is ready to jump in with one and be ready to take on the infant after mom goes back to work later on in the fall.

Their ideal nanny will be a warm and nurturing caregiver who is excited about planning hands-on activities, going outside, taking walks, and reading to their children. They appreciate a great communicator who can fill them in on how the day goes. and make suggestions while being respectful of their parenting philosophies (they are still learning). They would also love a nanny who is flexible and might be open to traveling with the family in the future, but that’s not a deal-breaker. They are hoping to send their son to a very part-time preschool in the fall (depending on their comfort with Covid numbers), so that the nanny can have some one-on-one time with the baby, and their son can have social interaction with children his age.

Other duties will include organizational and light housekeeping tasks such as; tidying after playtime, dishes/bottles after meals, children’s laundry, and prepping meals and bottles for the children.

Both parents currently work from home, however, dad may be returning to the office this summer. They are hoping to find someone who is taking COVID precautions.

The typical schedule will be Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm. They are hoping to find a long-term nanny to join their family!
