Affectionate and Organized Nanny (27614)

Select Sitters is seeking an affectionate, proactive, and loving nanny for a family in Raleigh. The family currently has a one-year-old boy who is happy, carefree, and busy. They are also expecting their second child in August, so they need a nanny who is ready to jump in with one and be ready to take on the infant after mom goes back to work in the fall. Their ideal caregiver would be organized and excited about planning hands-on activities, going outside, taking walks, and reading lots of books with their children. They appreciate a great communicator who can fill them in on how each day goes and make suggestions while being respectful of their parenting philosophies (they are still learning). They would also love a nanny who is flexible and might be open to traveling with the family in the future, but that’s not a deal-breaker. They are hoping to send their son to a very part-time preschool in the fall so that the nanny can have some one-on-one time with the baby, and their son can have some social interaction. This is going to be based on COVID numbers at the time. But this does mean they need a nanny who has a reliable vehicle and room for car seats.
Their ideal nanny would also be willing to help chip in with organizational and light housekeeping tasks such as; keeping things tidy and clean, tidying up toys after playtime, tidying up dishes/bottles after meals, children’s laundry, and prepping meals and bottles for the children.
Both parents currently work from home, however, dad may be returning to the office this summer. They are hoping to find someone who is taking COVID precautions, wearing a mask in public, avoiding large gatherings and indoor activities, and social distancing.
The typical schedule will be Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5 pm. They are hoping to find a long-term nanny who is interested in being a part of their family for several years. They have flexibility with their start date but are hoping for their new nanny to begin in early April.
Ideal Nanny Would Have:

-Strongly Prefer at least 1 year of nanny experience

-CPR/First Aid Certification
