Attentive and Organized Nanny (27608)

Updated: Jan 6

Select Sitters is seeking a detail oriented and organized nanny to join a family in Raleigh starting ASAP, with some flexibility for the right fit! The family has an affectionate 2 year old son and a sweet, observant 8 month old daughter. Their ideal nanny will have ample infant care experience, be able to thoughtfully engage the children in fun activities like neighborhood walks and park visits, and be energized, reliable, and friendly.

Responsibilities will include engaging in developmentally appropriate play, implementing strict feeding and napping schedules, diapering/potty training as applicable, and meal prep for the children. The nanny would also be responsible for drop off/pick up at the children’s nearby school where they attend two half-days per week, as well as taking their 2 year old for mommy-and-me visits from art class to soccer practice. Other duties include home-management tasks pertaining to the children such as light cleaning, tidying of toys, cleaning of bottles/children's feeding items, children’s laundry, and organization of infant items for use.

The family prefers to offer 35 hours per week, with some flexibility but closely aligning with a schedule of 8a-4:30p Monday, Wednesday, Friday; 1p-7p on Tuesday; and 1p-5p on Thursday. If their future nanny preferred a 40 hour work week, they would be happy to provide that at a schedule of Monday 8a-5:30p, Tuesday 12:45p - 6p, Wednesday 8a-5:30p, Thursday 12:45p - 7:30p, and Friday: 8a-5p. During the school year (September through May), the children will attend preschool from 9 am to 1 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. As this family is seeking a long-term fit, they would eventually like to consider a regular, summer schedule similar to 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Ideal Nanny Will Have:

-3-5 years of professional childcare experience

-Experience with Infants & Toddlers

-Excellent References

-CPR/First Aid Certification

-Fully Vaccinated (COVID, Flu, and TDAP vaccines)
