Calm and Engaging Nanny (27701)

Select Sitters is seeking a sweet, loving, and calm nanny for a family in Durham starting in February 2021. The family welcomed their first baby in June 2020 and she is curious and determined. She loves attention! Their ideal nanny would love reading, getting down on her level to play, and talking with her throughout the day. They are hoping for a nanny with some helpful tips and suggestions as they navigate their first year as parents. They are looking for someone who is laid back yet outgoing who will prioritize safety both with their baby and by taking all precautions with COVID. They are keeping their bubble small and although they don’t know what 2021 will look like, they do want someone who is honest and open about precautions and willing to keep their interactions with people outside of their bubble to the outdoors only. Both parents initially will work from home but will be returning to the office once things settle down with COVID.

The typical schedule will include Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7:45am-4pm. They are hoping for a nanny who can be a little flexible with this, but they don’t anticipate it varying too much. They would love help with light housekeeping such as occasional laundry, cleaning bottles, and putting away toys after playing. They are hoping for their nanny to join their family in February and would like to start with a one year commitment.

Ideal Nanny Would Have:

-3-5 years of professional childcare experience

-Experience with Infants

-CPR/First Aid Certification

-Ability to commit for one year
