Creative and Energetic Nanny for Nanny Share (27713)

Select Sitters is seeking a creative and energetic nanny for a nanny share in Durham starting in mid-May. The children are cousins ages 18 months and 6 months. They are seeking an excellent communicator who has a lot of energy to keep up with busy kiddos. The 18 month old loves being outside, arts and crafts, and reading lots of books. She can get bored easily so she needs someone who can keep up with her! She loves helping with chores and loves to laugh and be silly. Her cousin isn’t yet scooting or crawling, but he will be mobile soon. He will be starting solids and the family will be following baby led weaning, so a nanny who is familiar with handling breast milk as well as introducing foods in this manner would be helpful. They do have a backyard with a water table, kiddie pool, and lots of trails in the neighborhood for walking with the double stroller. There will be parents working from the home while the nanny is caring for the children. The family who is hosting the nanny share does have a small calm and friendly dog.

The nanny should prioritize the children over everything, but they would love assistance with tidying up after the children, preparing meals for the children, and help with occasional laundry when time allows. They are seeking a new nanny to join their families long-term starting in mid-May, they may have a little bit of flexibility for the right match. The typical weekly schedule will be Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and they will offer overtime pay. All parents are vaccinated so they are asking that their nanny either be vaccinated or be willing to get vaccinated soon.

Ideal Nanny Would Have:

-5+ years of professional childcare experience

-Experience with babies and toddlers

-Nanny experience strongly preferred

-Excellent References

-Infant and Child CPR/First Aid Certification

-Reliable Transportation

-Be a non-smoker

-COVID Vaccine (or be willing to get vaccinated)

-Ability to commit long-term
