Creative and Structured Nanny (27587)
Updated: May 3
They say variety is the spice of life! Are you a nanny who loves a varied role where you can take the lead on planning educational outings, travel with the family both inside and outside of the U.S., and thrive in the balance of clear expectations with the opportunity to proactively integrate your own best practice? If so, this Wake Forest family will be a fit for you! They have three boys, ages 7, 4, and 9 months old, so you’ll truly be joining an energized family who is regularly on the go, yet provides daily variety within a set schedule at several different developmental stages - from supporting afternoon homework with the oldest, to fun-loving relationship building during school drop offs and pickups, and developmentally appropriate activities with the youngest along the way! This family is looking for someone to join their family team who is firm and structured, yet also loving, engaging, and playful at heart as they support their boys through the coming years. You’ll especially love this opportunity if you enjoy ample time outside on adventures and can make the everyday extraordinary for these energized and growing boys.
Helping the boys establish healthy boundaries is also a must, so their ideal match would be open and accepting of feedback while willing to follow their lead in raising their kids. If you value open communication and a positive attitude, this is the family unit for you, as the parents aim to give and expect that, too! Similarly, they would value your proactive and professional expertise, so would welcome and encourage you taking the lead on planning regular outings to museums, parks, and playdates!
In addition to appealing to those with a traveling spirit, offering opportunities to travel on quarterly trips, the family can also offer an earlier end time on Fridays and some flexibility on the start date for an amazing match!
Schedule: The typical schedule is 7am-6pm Monday through Thursday and 7am-3:30pm on Friday. Flexibility for overnights and travel is a strong preference.
