Dependable and Loving Nanny (27605)

Select Sitters is seeking a kind, loving, and dependable nanny for a family in Raleigh starting in mid-February. The family has a snuggly 3 month old who is growing fast! They are hoping to find an experienced nanny who loves the baby’s first year and will really enjoy spending time cuddling, talking, and getting down on the floor with their baby girl. They are first time parents and would love suggestions and encouragement, but will also request that their nanny follow their preferences. The family is also asking that their nanny keep a smaller bubble while the COVID numbers remain high. They are still seeing grandparents and really want to keep everyone safe. Mom has already had the vaccine and works in full PPE. They are hoping to find someone who has the same mindset about avoiding indoor activities. Their ideal nanny would also be open to getting the COVID vaccine when it’s widely available, and will also have the flu vaccine and TDAP before starting with their family.

The typical schedule will involve about 42 hours a week Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:30am-5pm. They are able to have some flexibility with a later start on Wednesday mornings and can usually let their nanny leave early on Fridays. They are hoping to find someone who is comfortable with driving their little one when she is older to parks and outings so their nanny must have a clean driving record and room for a car seat. They also will ask for help with laundry of cloth diapers, cleaning bottles, and other light housekeeping tasks. They are looking for a nanny to join their family by mid-February but do have a little flexibility with help from grandma if needed.

Ideal Nanny Would Have:

-3-5 years of professional childcare experience

-Excellent References

-Experience with infants

-CPR/First Aid Certification

-Flu Vaccine/TDAP

-Reliable Transportation and room for 1 car seat

-Ability to commit at least for 2021
