Energetic and Creative Summer Nanny (27713)

Select Sitters is seeking a laid back, honest, and super active summer nanny for a family in Durham. The family is seeking a master multi-tasker who can help keep up with their active and busy children this summer while mom goes back to school and dad works from home (when he’s not traveling). The nanny would be caring for 3 children ages 7, 5, and 3 who all have different personalities and interests. They are hoping to find an energetic and creative nanny who can help create a sense of community with all the children rather than rivalry when things get competitive. The family has made the most of all the extra time at home and has added an awesome art room, above ground pool, and fenced in the backyard. They aren’t sure if Covid-19 will calm by summer, but if so, they are willing to allow the nanny to drive the minivan on outings. Their ideal candidate would be proactive about coming up with ideas of things to make each day fun and exciting for all three of the kiddos who are on different levels. They love arts and crafts, dancing, music, and anything outdoors. Two of the three kiddos do have severe food allergies, so someone who is organized and familiar with working with allergies would be preferred. The family does have one medium-sized dog.

They are seeking a Covid-19 conscious nanny who is taking precautions by avoiding indoor activities, using common sense with social distancing, and wearing a mask in public. Mom will be attending classes this summer, so they will be open about discussing precautions with any nanny candidates during the interview process.

The typical schedule will be Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm. They would prefer someone with a little flexibility if dad is traveling or mom needs to stay a little later or gets stuck in traffic. They will need full time care from May 11th-mid-August.

Ideal Nanny Would Have:

-3-5 years of professional childcare experience
