Engaging and Loving Nanny (27517)

Are you a self-motivated and mature nanny who would love supporting two siblings, with the majority of the time being spent with a sweet and easy-going infant? Then you may be a great fit for this position located in Chapel Hill beginning as soon as possible (with flexibility for the right fit)! The family has a 6 month old and 3 year old, and are hoping for an engaging, loving, and energetic nanny to join their family. Their oldest daughter is in school full time Monday through Friday, so she would only need care on the occasional school closure or workday. Still, someone knowledgeable in both children's stages who is able to implement developmentally appropriate routines and activities is important.

Both parents are physicians who work in the hospital setting, so they place high value on finding a nanny who is both reliable and punctual. Their schedules can vary a bit week to week and will be provided well in advance, but they are generally looking for care Monday through Friday from 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm (they occasionally work from home and can be flexible with those hours). Someone who is open to the rare 12 hour day (1-2 times per month) or occasional 6:30am start is also important due to their career demands. A nanny candidate who is energized by supporting this type of family schedule is key. This opportunity is also great for a childcare professional seeking a firm 40 hours per week with overtime pay included (as needed and applicable).

The primary focus will be coming up with fun activities to engage the children while maintaining their schedule, however, some child-related household support such as light meal prep, the children's laundry, changing crib sheets, and running the vacuum in the living room after meal and play times as needed would be helpful. Once the schedule and trust is established, the family is also open to you taking the children on outings if desired in the future!

Schedule: M-F either 9am-5pm or 8am to 4pm as the typical schedule; sporadic 12 hour day or 6:30am start time (1-2x month)

Pay Rate: $20-$25 per hour DOE

Start Date: ASAP
