Fun-Loving & Interactive Nanny (27519)

Select Sitters is seeking a fun-loving, laid back, and interactive nanny for a family in Cary. The family consists of two small business owners who have a booming business and their 2-year-old daughter who is full of energy and loves music and dancing. The family will also be welcoming a new baby in February/March and know how crazy life might become at that time as well. They are hoping for a new nanny to join them before the new baby arrives, and would love someone soon, but finding the right long-term match is important. They are looking for a true professional who is passionate about helping their little girl grow and learn new things each day. They are hoping for a patient and experienced nanny who will explore or take walks outdoors, read books, sing, dance, and provide some hands-on learning for their daughter. Someone with an early childhood degree or coursework is strongly preferred, and they would love someone who knows baby sign language.

Regarding COVID, they are being super cautious. Mom is pregnant, so they really need a nanny who is mindful and has a very small bubble of contacts they see right now. They are avoiding public places as much as possible and will ask the nanny to be very upfront about potential exposure. They are asking for a nanny who is open to getting tested before beginning work.

They will need a nanny Monday-Thursday 8:30 am-3:30 pm and Fridays 8:30 am-2:30 pm, however, if the right candidate needs more hours, they are willing to consider 40 hours. The focus will be on the children, however, help with tidying up each day, preparing lunches, and helping mom transition to a new baby when the time comes. Their Ideal Nanny Would Have:

-5+ years of professional experience with infants and toddlers

-Excellent References

-Bachelor’s Degree or Strong Educational Background

-Early Childhood Courses preferred

-CPR/First Aid Certification

-Fully vaccinated and willing to get flu shot and TDAP vaccine (before baby arrives)

-Reliable Transportation

-Clean Criminal Record

-Non-Smoker
