Interactive and Mature Temp Nanny (27516)

Select Sitters is seeking a temporary nanny for a family in Chapel Hill starting ASAP. This temporary contract will last 3 months--- from January to late March. The nanny will care for a sweet and busy 18-month-old. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and organized nanny who can help with keeping a somewhat structured day of reading books, singing songs, taking walks, and outdoor play time. Structure, nap schedules, and routine are also important.

Both parents do work from home, but have very busy and consistent schedules with work calls and meetings and need an independent person who can plan the day with little direction. They would love extra help with their daughter’s laundry, tidying up toys and books when there is downtime, but ultimately, the safety and engagement of their child is the most important thing to them. The family is looking for a nanny who is taking COVID seriously, keeping within a small social bubble, and who is not taking unnecessary risks.

The general schedule will vary; Monday - Friday falling between the hours of 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and averaging a total of 30 hours per week. A sample schedule: Monday: 9:00am - 3:00pm, Tuesday: 10:00am - 4:00pm, Wednesday: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Thursday: 10:00am - 4:00pm, and Friday 10:00am - 2:00pm. A nanny who might be available for one Saturday a month would be a great bonus but is not a requirement.

They would like to start with a 3-month contract and will communicate well in advance regarding their future plans.

Ideal Nanny Would Have:

-3-5 years of professional childcare experience

-Experience with the toddler stage

-Experience planning some activities/learning for toddlers

-Positive Attitude, Be Mature, and Engaging

-Excellent References

-CPR/First Aid Certification

-Clean Driving Record & Reliable Transportation

-Non-Smoker
