Interactive and Playful Nanny (27607)

Select Sitters is looking for a fun-loving and energetic nanny for a family in Raleigh starting in June. The family has one little girl who will be 8 months old at the start of the position. Their ideal nanny would be laid-back yet engaging, talkative, and playful with their daughter. They are hoping for the nanny to read lots of books, get down on the floor and play, take walks, and even do some art with her as she grows. They are just starting to get her on a nap schedule, so they are hoping for their nanny to be comfortable with following a routine. Both parents are working from home through the end of 2021 at least, and are hoping for a self-starter as they are busy during the workday. They are hoping to find someone who is taking COVID precautions and is a good communicator about any potential risk factors upfront. They are hoping that eventually, the nanny can get out with their daughter to parks, storytime, and maybe a class or playdate here and there, so they do need someone who is a safe driver and can fit a car seat safely in their vehicle.

The typical schedule will be Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm. They are hoping for someone who will be part of their family as they do hope to have more children in the future. Someone who is interested in a long-term arrangement is the best fit as they would like to have this nanny for multiple years. They are hoping for their nanny to begin in June, however, do have a little flexibility with the start date for the right fit to start sooner if desired.

Ideal Nanny Would Have:

-3-5 years of professional childcare experience

-Experience as a daycare teacher or nanny for children under 1.

-Excellent References

-CPR/First Aid Certification

-Non-Smoker

-Spanish Speaking a Bonus (one grandparent is fluent)

-Reliable Transportation and Clean Driving Record

-Ability to Commit to the Family Long-Term
