Inventive and Caring Nanny (27703)

Select Sitters is seeking an experienced, caring, and engaging nanny for a family in Durham starting in March. The family has a busy and sweet 3-year-old girl and a 10-month-old boy who is on the go! They are looking for someone who, above all, loves reading, being active and planning activities. A creative and loving caregiver who is adventurous and knowledgeable about developmentally appropriate/engaging activities for both kids.

Dad works from home and mom works in healthcare (not with COVID patients), so they need a flexible and organized nanny who is an excellent communicator. They would ask for some help with laundry, unloading/loading the dishwasher, feeding the children lunch, and tidying up play areas. The nanny will help with transportation to and from preschool for the 3-year-old (using a car provided by the family).

The typical schedule will involve 3 weekdays each week and times needed will be either 8 am-4 pm or 9 am-5 pm. The schedule will be provided for 2 months in advance. With notice, there is a chance that mom’s job may change to a 4 day per week position, so the ideal candidate will be open to this potential change. They are fun-loving and hoping for a nanny who can be part of their family and enjoy teaching and helping their children grow.

In regards to Covid related precautions: social distancing (no going to parties or large group activities), wearing a mask in public, frequent hand washing, etc would be expected, and they will be doing the same to protect their nanny.

Qualifications:

-5+ years of professional childcare experience

-Excellent References

-Experience with Infants

-CPR/First Aid Certification

-Reliable Transportation

-Clean Driving Record

-Dog Friendly (family has 2 older dogs)
