Mature and Warm Nanny (27539)

Select Sitters is seeking a confident, reliable, and mature nanny for a family in Apex starting in January 2021. The nanny will be caring for two children including an independent and curious 3-year-old girl who will primarily be in daycare during the day) and a baby boy who will be around 12 weeks when the nanny begins. The family is primarily looking for a calm, nurturing, and structured nanny who genuinely enjoys the infant stage. The oldest will be in Montessori school from 8:30am-3pm daily (unless there are school closures) and will need to be dropped up in the morning and picked up in the afternoon from school which is 10 minutes away at most. The best fit would be a great communicator as the parents will have to provide the schedule a few weeks at a time. Additional responsibilities would include light housekeeping such as cleaning bottles, kid’s laundry, and help with preparing meals and snacks for the oldest. The family also has a 5 year old dog who will need to be let out in the fenced-in yard and taken on a walk daily. They are asking for a nanny who will use common sense regarding COVID and not take part in indoor group activities and follow all CDC guidelines. They are hoping to have open communication with their nanny as they work outside of the home and want to make sure everyone is being safe when it comes to COVID.

The schedule will involve 40 hours a week typically in the form of four 10 hour days. They would prefer a flexible nanny who is willing to accommodate their schedule changes, and they will make every effort to keep the day off as consistent as possible. Typical work hours will start between 6 am-7 am and end between 4 pm-5 pm daily. They are looking for a nanny who can do at least a few trial days initially, and hope for an early January start date. They are anticipating at least a 1.5-year commitment.

Ideal Nanny Would Have:

-5+ years of professional childcare experience

-Several years of experience with infants

-Full-Time Nanny experience preferred

-Excellent References

-CPR/First Aid Certification

-Fully Vaccinated (tdap, flu vaccine)

-Reliable Transportation & Clean Driving Record

-A vehicle that can accommodate 2 car seats

-Ability to commit long-term
