Nurturing and Fun-Loving Nanny (27701)

A laid back and loving family in Durham is looking for a long-term nanny to join their family in September! The family has a happy and fun baby who will be 8 months old at the start date. He is curious and loves being outdoors. They are looking for an energetic, active, and creative nanny who is patient and calm with their little boy. Currently, their little guy is starting baby led weaning and will be both breastfeeding and eating solids when the nanny begins. Their ideal match would have experience with both. They also plan to follow a Montessori style of learning and would love someone who is trained or familiar with this, but open to someone who is interested in learning as well.

Both parents work from home but have extremely busy schedules, they may ask for help with heating up lunch for them (not cooking) or popping something in the oven before they get off work in order to set them up for success for the evening. They would love someone who is comfortable following a simple recipe, but even just light meal prep would be helpful. They also may ask for help with grocery pickup, baby’s laundry, and tidying up after their son’s mealtime and bottles. They would also love a nanny who has some flexibility to stay later or occasionally come earlier as both parents work with companies on the West Coast.

Schedule: M-F, 9:45 am-6 pm core schedule

Need flexibility occasionally to stay later or come in earlier with advanced notice

Pay Rate: $20-$25 per hour DOE

Start Date: September 6th
