Outgoing and Patient Nanny (27502)

Select Sitters is seeking an energetic and outgoing nanny for a laid-back family in Apex starting in late-January. Nanny would be responsible for planning and organizing activities for the family’s talkative 3-year-old girl and caring for her new little sister who joined the family in September. They are looking for an excellent communicator who is bubbly and enjoys outdoors, water play, arts and crafts, and outings once restrictions are lifted and the world is safe again. Their daughter has previously been in daycare pre-COVID and does well with routine. They are hoping for someone who can align with their discipline style which is clear communication about the right choice and follow through with a natural consequence. They are currently being more conservative with COVID precautions since they have a new baby at home, so they hope to hire someone who is willing to be mindful of social distancing and not attending parties or places where large groups gather.

The typical schedule would be 8:30 am-4:30 pm Monday-Friday and will offer guaranteed pay for 40 hours every week. Both parents do work from home at the moment. The family does have one friendly cat. They are hoping for someone to start in late January and are hoping to start with a 6-month commitment.

Ideal Candidate Would Have:

-5+ years of professional childcare experience

-Both infant and toddler experience

-Excellent Reference

-CPR/First Aid Certification

-Reliable Transportation and Clean Driving Record

-Fully Vaccinated (Flu Vaccine/TDAP)

-Ability to commit long-term
