Proactive and Energetic Twin Nanny (27539)

Select Sitters is seeking a patient, energetic, and honest nanny for a family with 1-year-old twins in Apex. The family will need the nanny to commute to Apex (27539) for at least the first 8 months while they wait for their home to be ready in West Cary (27523). The family’s twin girls have been around very few people due to being born right before COVID, so they need a confident and proactive nanny who understands how to make this a smooth transition. Organization is key! They need a nanny who can keep the chaos to a minimum and keep up with the insane amount of energy required when it comes to two busy and active girls. The bottom line is that they need a professional who adores the toddler years and will treat each girl as an individual rather than one of the twins. Their ideal nanny would be interested in planning engaging activities, taking the girls on walks, and being interactive during free-play. They are a Christian family who is involved in church (virtually) and would love to find someone who is comfortable and supportive of this. Both parents do work from home and have long before COVID so they have this down to a science. They are looking for a nanny who is also taking COVID seriously, wearing a mask in public, not eating indoors at restaurants, keeping a super small bubble.

The typical schedule will be Monday-Friday 9:00am-5 pm. They will very rarely need the nanny later than 5 pm. The family does also have 3 small dogs who mostly hang out with dad in his office. They are hoping for a long-term relationship with their nanny and have flexibility with their start date.

Qualifications:

-5+ years of professional experience with children including previous nanny experience

-Excellent References

-Experience with Multiples

-Child/Infant CPR/First Aid Certification

-College Degree or Early Childhood Education background preferred

-Flu Shot/TDAP & Open to getting COVID vaccine when available

-Reliable Transportation

-Non-Smoker

-Able to Swim
