You’ve submitted your application, completed your initial consultation, and have paid your initiation fee—what’s next? First of all, thank you for trusting us to help you find the right nanny for your family. This process is personal, important, and we’re honored to be part of it. Below is a step-by-step guide to what you can expect as we begin the journey toward a great match
Step 1: Crafting Your Individual Job Post
Based on your consultation and application notes, we’ll create a compelling position write-up that will be shared with nanny candidates. Think of this as your “hello” to potential nannies—it helps set the tone for a successful match.
Step 2: Candidate Recruiting, Vetting, & Matching
We begin the search through our trusted network of pre-screened nannies, as well as begin actively recruiting for your family. Every candidate whose resume we present has already passed background checks, reference verification, and undergone a thorough interview process. Only those who align closely with your preferences and needs will be shared with you.

Step 3: Reviewing Nanny Profiles
You’ll receive a curated list of nanny candidates. Each resume includes a nanny’s bio, prior experience, and qualifications. We'll support you as you review them, answer your questions, and help you decide who you'd like to interview. Keep in mind that we won’t always have several to share at once, but we will keep a steady flow of candidates until you’ve signed a contract with your new nanny!
Step 4: Interviews & Trial Days
If you are drawn to a candidate or think they may be a possible fit, we suggest moving forward with an initial virtual interview as soon as possible. We’ll coordinate interviews between you and the nannies. We just ask that you share your upcoming availability, and we’ll handle the rest. If things go well, we recommend scheduling an in-person meeting or working trial day to see how the nanny interacts with your children in real time. This can be key to building confidence in your decision.

Step 5: Making Your Selection
Once you’ve found the right match, we’ll guide you through the offer process—including salary negotiation, schedule confirmation, and expectations on both sides.
Step 6: Contract & Onboarding

We’ll provide a customizable nanny contract template to ensure everything is clearly outlined—from duties and hours to time off and communication preferences. We can also support you with onboarding tips and routines for a smooth start.
Step 7: Ongoing Support
Our relationship doesn’t end once your nanny starts. We’re here if you need help with contract adjustments, nanny performance concerns, or finding backup care in the future.

Final Thoughts:
The nanny placement process is a partnership between your family, your nanny, and us. We take pride in making it a thoughtful, personalized experience. If at any point you have questions, ideas, or concerns, we’re just a call or email away.
